I don't post as often as I should

It's been quite some time since my last post but after reading this I believe it should be bought to the attention of disabled people.

 http://www.thefedonline.org.uk/disability-in-the-news/election-2015-disabled-people-should-come-together-in-new-national-body

It clearly says the following
Leading activists appalled by the prospect of another five years of attacks on disability rights and equality – following the election of a majority Conservative government – are working on plans to set up a new national organisation of disabled people.

I believe disabled people need a union one that will not sit back like the disability charities do at present and take it up the arse from the likes of the charity commission just so they can get some funding. They should be prepared to chew gum and kick ass, but be all out of gum.
They should be standing up to the likes of Cameron and his bully boys club, one thing about bully's is they shout but if you stand up to them they cry.
IMHO a union would be a much stronger thing, it should be run by those that are in the firing line of the government, the disabled themselves, and those with other vested interests in other things like been in the house of Lords that have disabilities should be allowed to be just ordinary members, they should hold no power within the organisation, if they don't like it tough.

If a union is formed, and I for one, as a disabled person, would strongly back it, but funding would have to be only a small fee like £1 a month, or £10 if paid yearly in advance!
This maybe something that will start small but if it is going to survive then the people need to grow from the smallest roots to a mighty Acorn tree, one that will not bow down to charities or government pressure as some charities that claim to help people with disabilities do anything but help.
Many so called charities took on work for the JC+ and gained nothing for it, in effect they tried to get 2 bites of the apple, but failed.
A union must be strong, decisive and be prepared to meet fire with fire, they must also be prepared to fight the 1% at every opportunity, in the words of Winston Churchill we must fight them on the beaches on the landing grounds or wherever we encounter them, we must push them so hard they surrender and meet our demands, we must show the corrupt government, whether it's Labour or Conservative, we can't be beaten
we must show them we will not lie down and be fed the scraps they want to offer us while they claim for everything.
